That said, it’s important not to miss the message. The bunding of ArcIMS with AGS, the .NET and Java ADF send a pretty clear message: start your transition. Although the technical challenges were different, I’d say I wish we’d been given this kind of lead time/migration path for converting from AML and/or Avenue to ArcObjects back at 8.0. But, of course, that was much more of a tectonic shift and the pain was unavoidable.

I was stuck back East doing a system roll-out and couldn’t go this year so I appreciated your coverage of the UC.
