You might want to check again on that. The AGS Basic Workgroup edition may be limited that way, but I don’t think AGS Basic Enterprise is.

Ouch! But not surprising. It is a bummer when you go to conference sessions and read articles about a really cool new tool or piece of software, and then realize that you will never actually get to use it because of price.

$10k AGS Basic – (ArcSDE w/ extras)
$20k AGS Standard – (ArcSDE w/Web services stuff)
$40k AGS Advanced – Everything plus spatial analysis/models on the web

Day to day, my bummed-out-ness increases as I contemplate that $40k price tag. I really, really want that model publishing…
