Lets hope they add support for writing Shapefiles like the free GoogleEarth supports creating points, lines, and polys in KML!

I sincerely hope that there’s a MAJOR improvement in performance in the next build of AGX. I’d love to be able to use it as a means of allowing access to local data, but right now it’s just way to slow… I’d be laughed out of the room if I suggested that we switch from Google Earth to AGX in it’s current condition.

if I recall correctly, one thing Euan talked about at the .NET SIG re: v next of AGX were some enhancements to the Task API – better integration of sketch geometries?

While I appreicate them coming out with new versions and releasing fixes, they need to take the enterprise into consideration. We have no way of controlling the “A new version is a vailable” dialog when we push out the package to clients. This results in hundreds (yes hundreds) of helpdesk calls saying “AGX says a new version is available, how do I get it?”
