thats because there is nothing to install. The program is all vaporware, and the user base is even less.

Abridge, are you that Summer guy in disguise?

Are there even more than 10 people using the product?

I am really not intending to start a Manifold back and forth, but that is one of my favourite things about their updates. A quick uninstall, double click the update executable and 15 seconds later you are ready to go.

Why do the ESRI SP's take so long to install. It optimistacally states "7 minutes remaining" at the start of the install. 20 minutes later, it's all the way down to 2 minutes remaining.

It only showed 0 seconds remaining for about five minutes.

I know ESRI warns you NOT to install Desktop SP4 without also installing the SDE SP4...but given the few changes in SDE SP, and given that I don't have time to update EVERY user's desktop, I'd like to go ahead and put SP4 just on my desktop arcmap. Does anyone know if my computer is going to blow up if I do this?

BTW..someday I'll have to actually watch Citizen Kane...I've been meaning to for a long time...I love classic movies.
