James…Hey, I am not adverse to constructive criticism and welcome your suggestions; and if we don’t look as if we are doing our best, I appreciate the feedback. I object to the blanket criticism which I believe is without foundation; not the specific references which I do take seriously.

Joe, if I didn’t value APB as a resource I probably wouldn’t have commented. If you only want positive feedback, how can things be improved?

The crticism stands though, you just can’t post such info and not expect to be questioned on it given you don’t post a source.

James. I’m not sure why you found it necessary to comment on our blog post. You may not find some of our news useful or “new” news to you; others might find it helpful if they have not been aware of it previously. But Directions or APB is not the “news”. We try to be a resource to others. Sometimes we hit our mark; other times we miss or in your case…you are already aware of this information, perhaps. So, while we try to get information out in various ways like APB, and we think we do a good job with it, I guess I find it curious for you to comment on our value to the geospatial industry. But that’s certainly your prerogative…Joe

I’d like to see a well thought out .NET API that could be used in the same way that MapObjects was. And since we’re talking about ArcGIS Explorer, why not make it free?

I was just talking with some of my co-workers about the fall of All Points Blog. The passion isn’t there anymore. I’ve enjoyed reading Adena’s work over the years, but I wonder if that has run its course. I hope not.
