Hey wait a darn second! Thankfully he did mention Java. It's pretty unfair how ESRI markets the Java API when its not complete, IMHO. They market that everything that can be done in .NET can be done in Java..but that is false (tracking analyst the biggest culprit here). Not to mention the interoperability layer, yikes! Thankfully they had as many Java sessions at the developer conference as they did. ESRI Java developers unite! Ha-ha, sorry to rant!

James - Excellent synopsis. Some things I have heard about make more sense with what you provide here. Quick question - Rex Hansen's use of a sample code from the Resource Center to create a Sharepoint web part - he was talking 9.3, right?, and not current 9.2.

I agree about the support with SDE. I couldn't beleive that they created a product that didn't support their own software (direct SDE connection).

If you run into Jeremy, congratulate him on KU's #1 Seed : )

@Timmy,
Note the mention of ArcGIS Explorer connecting directly to the SDE. That and performance improvements are very welcome changes.
