Looks like an interesting project.  If TileCache has been trouble for you to get working right, PHPGeoTiles might be something to keep an eye on.  Already there is support for the ArcGIS REST API to Google App Engine.

    Hi James,

    Thanks for writing about my new project :)

    It is just a new project and its goal is to make caching more simple. I have tested project with very few WMS servers, so I’m not sure if it works with all WMS servers.

    I hope geo community will use it and help me to improve it.

    The ArcGIS/Google App Engine is interesting. I’ll be sure to try it out when I get a chance.
