So after almost a year of “hard work”, my son has graduated Pre-Kindergarten.
I’ve told him he’s got 3 choices:
- Go to Kindergarten
- Get a job
- Enlist in the Army

The best time of the year is when baseball starts up again.

What a horrible way to end your season and possibly cost you a NCAA tournament birth. If you aren’t UCLA or USC in the Pac-10, nothing goes your way. To make that call at that point in the game is atrocious.

I’ll be busy with my new Nintendo Wii today (and probably the rest of the week). I’m already getting beaten at EA Playground and Donkey Kong Blast, but holding my own at MLB Power Pros and Carnival Games. It wasn’t all Wii though for me. The wife did get me something I had been really wanting.
Hope everyone else had a great Christmas morning as well!
Thanks to the Weather Channel, I can see a white Christmas on my TV

Its been a cold and blistery day here in Tempe, Arizona (well by Tempe standards at least) so I’m ready to get the fire burning and the Kahlua hot chocolate flowing. My son Connor has been bouncing off the walls full of Christmas candy and cookies and the anticipation that Santa is on his way. I’ve had Google Earth running all day and I’ve caught him watching multiple times. About 4 more hours and he will be in bed and dreaming of Santa.
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.

Seems like every year I make the same post. Arizona State beats Arizona to win the Territorial Cup *again*.
Boy, looks like we could make the Fiesta Bowl this year. How about that!
The Territorial Cup the oldest award given for a rivalry game, first awarded before Arizona became a state.

All I wanted to do is let my son take the Jedi Training at Disneyland and Darth Vader shows up with Darth Maul and two Storm Troopers. He tried to convert Connor to the dark side, but Connor would have nothing of it and proceeded to battle Vader. Because of valor he took the Jedi oath and became a Jedi Knight Padawan. Never been prouder of my son!

Most of you already know this is Geography Awareness Week. There are many ways to help promote geography this week, but I’ve come up with my own. I’m taking the family to Disneyland.
I’ll be back on Monday, have a great week guys.

I played baseball at every level (well except pro) growing up so it is great to see my son want to play baseball as well. This morning was his first T-Ball game. and we both had a blast.

All U.S. Americans took it on the chin when Miss South Carolina tried to answer a question about U.S. American’s mapping abilities, but a new website has stepped in to being U.S. American’s children the maps they need.
The children of the US America are in deep trouble. Because some people out there don’t have maps. Such as South Africa. Therefore, you must email us maps to make it better. EMAIL: maps AT mapsforus.org. Our views of Attack of the Show’s webpage will encourage our children to believe that there is a future outside of Asia. A future with maps. And such. South Africa.
The comments section is wonderful and this type of grassroots effort might actually help U.S. American’s mapping deficiencies.
The website is back up!
Update: No sooner than I post this, but the website has gone down. The Google cache gives you a little insight into what you are missing.
At least Miss South Carolina did with with Matt Lauer asking the questions.
